Zakapps Hiring Backend Developer | Chennai

As a Junior Backend Developer at ZA Apps, you’ll work closely with our engineering team to build, test, and maintain scalable backend systems. You’ll contribute to new product features, optimize data flow, and ensure system performance while learning industry best practices in backend development.

Eligibility:

Experience: 0–2 Years
Qualification: UG or PG (Computer Science background)
Only Chennai-based candidates (applications from outside Chennai will not be considered)

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
Basic knowledge of Node.js
Experience or understanding of web scraping using tools/libraries like Puppeteer, Cheerio, or Playwright
Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON handling
Good problem-solving and debugging skills

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend logic and APIs using JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
Work with databases and handle data exchange between server and client.
Debug and resolve backend issues to ensure smooth application performance.
Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
Implement security and data protection best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of cloud services or deployment platforms (AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean)
Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub)
Hands-on with RESTful API integration
Eagerness to learn new backend frameworks and technologies
