Job Summary

We are seeking passionate and technically skilled Java Developer Interns to join our growing team at our Chennai office. This internship program provides a golden opportunity for fresh graduates to immerse themselves in real-world enterprise projects, gain hands-on experience in Java-based development, and work with experienced professionals shaping next-gen software systems.

The selected interns will contribute to designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications built on Java and related technologies. Education Qualification

🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.

Year of Passing: 2023, 2024, or 2025 (students with no active backlogs).

A strong academic record with foundational knowledge in computer programming concepts, database systems, and software development.

Mandatory Requirement

💡 JAVA Certification – Candidates must hold a recognized Java certification (from Oracle, Coursera, Udemy, or any accredited institution). Certification will be verified during the selection process.

Technical Skills Required

• Core Java: OOP concepts, exception handling, collections, and multithreading.
• SQL/MySQL/MSSQL: Writing and optimizing queries, understanding relationships, joins, and database normalization.
• JDBC / Servlets / JSP: Basic knowledge preferred.
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Added advantage for front-end integration.
• Version Control Systems: Git or GitHub.
• Frameworks: Basic knowledge of Spring Boot or Hibernate (desirable but not mandatory).
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to debug issues effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Software Development

Assist in the design, coding, and testing of new software applications using Java. Participate in developing backend modules, APIs, and database connectivity. Contribute to the integration of front-end and back-end systems for a seamless user experience.

2. Database Management

Write efficient SQL queries to manage, retrieve, and update data. Work with relational databases such as MySQL or MSSQL to maintain application data integrity.

3. Code Maintenance & Optimization

Support debugging, troubleshooting, and improving existing systems. Analyze and refactor code to ensure maintainability and performance optimization.

4. Collaboration & Agile Participation

Work under the guidance of senior developers and team leads. Participate in daily stand-up meetings, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions. Learn and apply Agile methodologies to project development cycles.

5. Quality Assurance

Test applications for functionality, reliability, and scalability. Report and document issues, bugs, and improvements using tracking tools.

6. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare documentation for technical processes, module specifications, and code changes. Provide updates on task progress and challenges to mentors and supervisors.

Interview Process
