Responsibilities
- Contribute to the physical design of System on Chip (SoC) and hard macro components.
- Assist in the validation and debugging of SoCs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Support RF and analog layout design, focusing on high-quality schematics and circuit performance.
- Participate in the design of RF, analog, mixed-signal, and power ICs using advanced technologies.
- Engage in low-power design methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce consumption.
- Work on board and FPGA design, supporting hardware prototyping and system testing.
- Contribute to the design of digital ASICs for various product lines.
- Perform Design and SoC verification to ensure functionality and compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with the CAD solutions engineering team to streamline design tool usage and optimization.
- Assist in Design for Test (DFT) development to improve manufacturability and test coverage.
- Participate in CPU design activities as part of the core architecture and development team.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience or coursework in Verifying SoCs with embedded RISC/DSP processors or communication/networking ASICs.
- Familiarity with hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL, and programming skills in C/C++, Tcl, Perl, or shell scripting.
- RTL design experience and/or strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Understanding of wireless/wired communication protocols or multimedia technologies like graphics and video is a plus.
- Specific knowledge in analog and RF design concepts including PLL, LNA, OpAmp, CMOS, ADC/DAC, and experience with tools like Cadence, SpectreRF, or Layout.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
