About the Role
As an SDET, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute test plans, automate testing processes, and contribute to the seamless delivery of high-quality products.
In this role, you will:
- Test Execution: Execute manual test cases to validate application functionality.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects to resolution, ensuring software quality.
- Automation Development: Create and maintain automated test scripts using a Selenium-based framework.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automation tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality assurance.
- Backend Testing: Leverage SQL for data validation and backend testing processes.
- API and Front-End Testing: Test and automate functional and regression scenarios for React-based front-end applications and RESTful APIs.
- Cloud Technology Testing: Utilize foundational knowledge of AWS to test cloud-based applications and services.
- Innovation: Explore emerging trends in AI and advanced testing tools to enhance processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to provide feedback on software design and functionality.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and contribute to test planning discussions.
- Agile Practices: Engage in agile activities like sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical design reviews.

Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Familiarity with automation frameworks, preferably Selenium.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design concepts like SOLID and KISS.
- Testing Skills:
- Exposure to manual and automated testing for microservices and RESTful services.
- Experience with testing front-end applications built with frameworks like React (preferred but not required).
- Strong SQL skills for data validation; familiarity with non-relational databases like DynamoDB is a bonus.
- Cloud and AI Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of cloud providers like AWS is a plus.
- Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and how they can enhance testing processes.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
