BNY Mellon is seeking an Associate in Data Management & Quantitative Analysis to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work with internal and external datasets, apply quantitative techniques, and support the development of models that drive insights into asset performance, securities data, derivative pricing, and risk exposure.

You’ll contribute to the accuracy of our data-driven decisions, gain exposure to financial analytics, and collaborate with senior quantitative professionals in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

🔎 Key Responsibilities

• Work with datasets and client reference data to perform statistical, financial, and econometric analysis.

• Run models, identify exceptions, and take corrective action.

• Support senior colleagues in data management activities.

• Apply techniques like querying and macro development to extract and prepare data for models.

• Contribute to standard and ad hoc reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Build working knowledge of financial products, processes, and methodologies for performance, risk, or valuation assessment.

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).

• Advanced degree in quantitative analysis preferred.

• Experience: 0–2 years (quantitative finance/technology experience preferred).

• Strong foundation in statistical and quantitative analysis.

• Exposure to financial modeling and data management.

• Ability to interpret findings and prepare structured reports.

• Detail-oriented, with responsibility for accuracy and quality of work.
