Job Description

The Associate Software Engineer (ASE) role is designed for graduates who are ready to begin their professional journey with a strong foundation in computing and analytical thinking. As an ASE, you will contribute to end-to-end engineering activities starting from requirement analysis, design and development to testing and deployment. The role offers hands-on participation in building technology solutions that meet client expectations and industry standards.

You will be expected to collaborate within agile development teams, understand functional and technical requirements, and implement high-quality software modules. The role demands adaptability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and configure software applications based on business requirements.

• Participate in requirement analysis, brainstorming and technical planning activities with cross-functional teams.

• Develop clean, efficient and maintainable code aligned with project guidelines.

• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes and implement reliable fixes.

• Contribute to automation solutions and integrate modern technology trends into existing systems.

• Perform unit testing and take part in peer code reviews to ensure quality and performance.

• Work proactively to meet delivery deadlines and maintain accurate documentation of development activities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics or related fields.

• Graduation Batch: Up to 2025 pass outs.

• Experience: 0 to 1 year and 11 months (freshers encouraged to apply).

• Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in both spoken and written English.

• Basic understanding of programming concepts, data structures, algorithms and software engineering principles.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript or similar.

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, databases, APIs and version-control tools.

• Aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting in a fast-paced environment.

Interview Process

Our structured hiring procedure ensures a fair and transparent evaluation for all applicants. The selection process typically includes the following stages:

1. Online Aptitude Test

This stage evaluates logical reasoning, analytical thinking, quantitative problem-solving and verbal ability. Candidates must demonstrate clarity of thought and time management.

2. Technical Assessment

An online or offline test to evaluate programming skills, debugging capabilities and foundational understanding of software engineering concepts. Topics may include algorithms, data structures, basic coding problems and scenario-based logic.

3. Technical Interview

A one-on-one or panel interview with engineering leads. Candidates will be asked to explain their academic projects, technical concepts, approach to problem-solving and real-world application of programming knowledge.

4. HR/Behavioral Interview

The final round evaluates communication skills, attitude, cultural fit, career goals and willingness to learn. This is also an opportunity for candidates to ask questions about the role and organization.

Selected candidates will receive an official offer letter followed by onboarding instructions.
