Job Description

As an Analytics Engineering / Technical Operations Intern, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for building scalable data solutions, automating workflows, and supporting mission-critical processes within the platform.
The role requires strong technical curiosity, analytical thinking, and a willingness to dive deep into real business data. You will work closely with engineers, analysts, and customer-facing teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical implementations.
This internship focuses heavily on practical learning and real-world problem-solving, giving you exposure to end-to-end data workflows, ETL design, Python automation, SQL optimization, and internal tool development.

Education & Eligibility Criteria

• Passing Out Year: 2026
• Minimum CGPA: 8.5+ (with 85%+ in 10th and 12th)
• Eligible Streams: All B.Tech branches
• Location: In-office, Pune (Kalyani Nagar)
• Internship Duration: 6 months, starting from 5 January 2026
• Work Mode: Full-time, on-site
• Added Advantage: Prior exposure to Databricks, AWS Glue, or similar data platforms

Roles & Responsibilities

This internship involves meaningful technical responsibilities and hands-on exposure. Interns will be actively involved in real projects that improve operational efficiency, enhance automation, and support data-driven insights.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Building ETL Pipelines
Design, implement, and optimize ETL workflows that pull customer data from multiple sources into the Forma.ai platform.
You will learn how to handle structured and semi-structured datasets, ensure data accuracy, and maintain pipeline reliability.

2. Writing Python Scripts for Automation
Develop Python-based systems that automate repetitive processes, perform validation checks, and improve operational workflows.
Your code will support internal teams and contribute to smoother platform operations.

3. SQL Query Development & Optimization
Write well-structured SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and dashboard reporting.
You will also analyze performance issues and optimize query speed and efficiency.

4. Creating Internal Tools
Work on small engineering tools that support business operations. These tools may automate reporting, simplify data checks, or provide insights to internal teams.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration
Engage with business teams, analysts, and client-facing stakeholders to understand real requirements.
Your job will include translating business needs into scalable and logical technical solutions.

6. Ensuring Data Quality
Maintain high standards of data accuracy by designing validation layers, identifying anomalies, and resolving inconsistencies within customer datasets.

7. Continuous Learning & Improvement
Document your processes, improve existing automation, and actively participate in discussions around scaling current systems.

Interview Process

The entire selection process will be conducted in-office on 2nd December. The evaluation will consist of multiple rounds designed to assess technical knowledge, analytical ability, and overall problem-solving approach.

1. Registration & Document Verification
Candidates will be required to submit their ID, academic records, and basic information before proceeding to the assessment rounds.

2. Aptitude & Technical Test
The first evaluation stage includes a written test covering logical reasoning, quantitative ability, basic Python, and SQL fundamentals. This round helps identify candidates with strong analytical foundations.

3. Technical Interview
Shortlisted candidates will face a one-on-one technical interview focusing on Python coding, SQL logic, data manipulation, and understanding of ETL concepts.
Interviewers may also present real-world scenarios to evaluate your approach to debugging or designing workflows.

4. HR & Culture Fit Discussion

5. Final Selection & Offer
