About the Role
As an Engineer – Ansys Sales Support at Synopsys,
you will be at the intersection of engineering simulation, AI innovation, and
customer excellence. You’ll work closely with U.S.-based clients,
providing top-tier technical support and leveraging AI-driven platforms like
AnsysGPT and Innovation Space. This role requires both technical expertise

Work Location: Pune, Maharashtra (Preferred) or Bangalore, India
Shift Timings: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST (supporting U.S. customers)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Utilize and deploy the full suite of Ansys Technical Support tools, including AI-driven solutions such as Ansys Innovation Space and AnsysGPT.
- Deliver post-sales technical support, ensuring fast and precise resolution to simulation and integration challenges.
- Develop expertise in Ansys simulation products, staying updated on new technologies and industry trends.
- Create, update, and share technical documentation to strengthen internal and external knowledge bases.
- Design and deploy AI-based tools and solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance technical support efficiency.
- Conduct debugging, performance tuning, and testing of AI applications to ensure reliability and scalability.
- File and track defect reports, validate software fixes, and participate in product release testing cycles.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to provide technical insights and product demonstrations when required.
- Champion AI-powered customer support strategies to improve response times, satisfaction, and long-term client retention.

What You’ll Need
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical background.
- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills for complex technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities; proactive and accountable.
- Experience with Ansys or other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, or PLM tools preferred.
- Knowledge of AI models, including hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.
- Experience with Python, machine learning, or deep learning frameworks is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
