💻 Role Overview

As a Software Engineer within the Wealth & Private Banking IT department, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining IT solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and business stakeholders. You will play a key role in delivering reliable, scalable, and compliant applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

⚙️ Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality IT solutions aligned with solution architecture and design specifications.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure product stability.
• Collaborate closely with architects, testers, and business analysts to deliver robust solutions.
• Maintain operational stability, integrity, and availability of supported applications.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, release management, and DevOps activities.
• Support production releases, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quick remediation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, identifying areas for automation and optimization.
• Document technical solutions using structured analysis and standard methodologies.
• Work within Agile/DevOps frameworks for iterative development and deployment.

🎯 Skills and Experience Required

• Strong software development background, with solid understanding of SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with Avaloq platform and Avaloq parameterization.
• Excellent skills in PL/SQL scripting, Unix commands, and Control-M.
• Working knowledge of reporting tools and interface integration.
• Proficient in debugging, testing, and problem-solving complex issues.
• Understanding of Agile methodology and DevOps pipelines.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Exposure to financial domain applications or private banking systems is preferred.

🎓 Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Additional certifications in software engineering, DevOps, or cloud technologies will be an advantage.
