At Swiggy, we’re looking for highly motivated and curious minds to join our engineering team as Associate Software Development Engineers (aSDEs). In this role, you’ll collaborate with seasoned engineers to design, build, and scale backend systems that power one of India’s most loved consumer platforms.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to Java, Go, Elasticache, Elasticsearch, Kafka, SQS, DynamoDB, and other cutting-edge technologies, while tackling real-world engineering challenges at scale.

💻 What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain scalable backend systems and services.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java and Go.

• Leverage tools like Elasticache, Elasticsearch, Kafka, SQS, DynamoDB to build robust solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

• Engage in architecture and design discussions for new features and enhancements.

• Debug and optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• B.Tech graduates (2024/2025) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Strong programming skills in Java and/or Go.

• Familiarity with backend development concepts, databases, and data modeling.

• Enthusiasm to learn and experiment with cutting-edge tools.

• Strong problem-solving mindset and effective communication skills.

• Collaborative team spirit with a growth mindset.

• Bonus: Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control (Git).

🌍 Way of Working – Remote First

• Employees have the freedom to work remotely year-round.

• Teams come together at their base location (Bangalore) for one week each quarter to collaborate in person.
