💼 Role Overview

As a Specialist BI Engineer (SAS), you’ll work with a team of problem-solvers to address complex business challenges using data, analytics, and insights.

You will:

• Deliver high-quality analytics solutions.

• Mentor juniors, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and contribute to team growth.

• Drive continuous improvements in data processes and reporting.

• Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements and reporting needs.

• Ensure adherence to SLAs, ticket quality, and incident/change/problem management processes.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Apply SAS/R/Python for statistical data processing and SQL/SAS for data handling.

• Develop scalable, repeatable, and secure data pipelines for analytics and BI systems.

• Ingest, validate, and transform granular datasets (transaction/claim/customer level).

• Conduct data validation and quality checks.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for analytics and reporting.

• Prepare project status reports, reviews, and escalations.

• Support managed services operations, ensuring smooth incident, change, and problem management.

• Communicate effectively with teams and clients across the project lifecycle.

🛠️ Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 0.6 – 2 years (Associate level) | 3+ years (Data Analyst level).

• Primary: SAS/R/Python, SAS/SQL for data handling.

• Secondary: Power BI, Advanced Excel, Excel Macros.

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

• Hands-on experience delivering Managed Data & Analytics programs.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

🎓 Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant field.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Certifications in SAS or other BI tools.

• Exposure to Managed Services & Analytics programs at scale.
