As a Software Test and Automation Engineer, you’ll:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle at scale.

• Focus on automation, testing, networking, and tooling to ensure quality delivery.

• Define, implement, and execute tests for our wireless solutions, controllers, and access points.

• Learn and apply Cisco products, wireless technologies, test methodologies, frameworks, and tools.

• Contribute to critical connectivity experiences and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll collaborate with a diverse, talented team while developing features that power the future of networking.

Core Skills:

• Strong programming skills in C, C++ or Python.

• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, protocols).

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.

Bonus Skills:

• Exposure to AI/ML development tools.

• Knowledge of wireless networking technologies (802.11, BLE, Zigbee/802.15.4).

• Coding experience in additional languages (Java, Kotlin, JavaScript).

• Understanding of data structures and algorithms.

• Experience with debugging, QA, and test automation.

• Certifications like CCNA or hands-on with networking products.

Who You Are

• Recent graduate or early career engineer with BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering.

• Up to 2 years of experience from studies, projects, internships, or apprenticeships.

• Passionate about software, networking, and quality assurance.

• Eager to learn, grow, and innovate at a global scale.
