Job Family Definition

As a Cloud Developer at HPE, you will contribute to building mission-critical applications, engineering innovative cloud solutions, and collaborating across teams to ensure effective deployment and support. You will help drive technical excellence while delivering real business value and enriching HPE’s Cloud Services portfolio.

Management Level Definition

This role is an entry-level engineering position. You will apply technical concepts and theoretical knowledge, contribute as a team member, and exercise independent judgment within defined guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud application modules based on feature specifications while ensuring security compliance.

• Design, execute, and automate test plans for application components.

• Deploy code, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.

• Share and review innovative technical solutions with peers and managers.

• Analyze technical problems to implement effective solutions in cloud and distributed systems.

Education and Experience

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Preferred: Master’s degree.

• Experience: 0–2 years.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Java, Golang, JavaScript.

• Basic understanding of testing, coding, and debugging.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD).

• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and collaborate effectively.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
