As a Trainee Technician in the Premium Processing (PP) team, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day activities and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills and gain experience in the insurance sector. Working under the guidance of Senior Technicians and the Team Leader, you will contribute to achieving team targets and meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Reports To: PP Team Leader
Location: Pune, India (Hybrid – up to 50% remote work)
Employing Entity: Mrald (Mphasis’s dedicated UK Insurance operational services delivery vehicle)
Level: Entry Level

Key Responsibilities

• Complete allocated premium processing tasks accurately and on time.
• Seek guidance from Senior Technicians when encountering complex tasks.
• Actively engage in feedback and focus on personal development.
• Support the team in delivering services within agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Adhere to all company compliance, policy, risk management, and audit requirements.
• Successfully complete all assigned training and assessment exercises.

Skills and Experience

Must-Have:

• Degree qualification.
• Awareness of insurance and its role in business operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Preferred:

• Experience within the financial services industry, preferably insurance.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, changing environment across a range of business operations.
